Assistant Readiness is a setup tool that helps train your AI assistant by organizing customer intents and simulating common questions using your available data. It ensures your assistant can accurately respond to customer queries before going live.
How It Works:
For each customer intent, predefined questions are added.
During onboarding, AI uses available data sources (store pages, policies, etc.) to auto-generate responses.
You can further improve or override these by:
Manually adding responses (up to 1500 characters)
Adding data such as PDFs, text and FAQs
Editing any AI-generated or manually added responses
Key Functionalities:
Whole Intent Regeneration: Regenerates responses for all questions under a selected intent using current data sources.
Single Question Regeneration: Use the regenerate icon beside any question to regenerate its response.
Manual Overrides:
Manually added responses are not replaced during regeneration.
These are also added to the FAQs automatically.
Any edit or delete action on such answers is synced between Assistant Readiness and FAQs.
Mark as Correct:
If AI is unsure or lacks information, you'll see a “Mark as correct” button. Once clicked, the current response is saved as answer for that question. But if you want you can edit it later.
Customer Intents:
There are three primary customer intents:
Store Details
Store info, contact info, payment methods, shipping policy
Offers & Deals
Sales and offers
Order Management
Returns, refunds, cancellations, modifications
Order tracking (requires manual link addition)
Intent overview
Each customer intent represents a group of questions related to a specific topic, such as Store Details, Offers & rewards, or Order Management (like returns, cancellations, etc.). You can view and manage the assistant’s readiness for each intent individually.
Inside each intent, you can:
View the training quality as a percentage, which shows how many questions are covered with satisfactory responses.
Use filters to switch between:
All FAQs
Only Unsatisfactory Responses
View answered vs. total questions, helping you track readiness for that intent.
Assistant Readiness Dashboard:
Each intent shows:
Customer Intent: The topic category (e.g., Shipping, Returns)
Data Sources: Linked content like pages, PDFs, text , and FAQs
Questions Simulated: Number of questions pre-defined per intent
Unsatisfactory Responses: AI-generated answers flagged as incomplete or unclear
Correct Responses: Number of finalized responses (either AI-approved or manually added)
You can filter questions by:
Intent
Training quality (e.g., unsatisfactory only)
How to Manage Responses
1. Correcting/Generating Responses
Go to Training Tab > Manifest Dashboard.
Select an intent in assistant readiness.
Use "Regenerate" (top-right) to refresh all intent questions.
For single questions, click the regenerate icon (🔄) beside the query.
To edit, click the "Edit" icon. A side modal will open for adjustments.
Save to confirm changes.
2. Manually Adding Responses
Navigate to the intent in the Training Tab.
Select any intent in assistant readiness,
Enter your response in the input box (1,500-character limit).
Click Save.
Note: Manual responses skip regeneration and sync to FAQs.
3. Marking Responses as Correct
If the AI flags a response as uncertain (due to missing data), click "Mark as Correct" to approve it.
Order Tracking Setup:
Go to Training Tab > Assistant readiness >Order tracking intent.
Enter a valid URL (starting with
https://
).Click Save.
Edit or delete the link anytime.
FAQs
1) What happens when I regenerate an entire intent?
It uses current data sources to regenerate all responses for that intent. Manual responses are not overwritten.
2) What is “Mark as correct”?
If AI isn’t confident in a response, you'll see a Mark as correct option. Clicking it confirms the current answer as final.
3) Will changes in Assistant Readiness reflect in FAQs?
Yes. Any manual response added, edited, or deleted will sync with FAQs and vice versa.
4) Can I filter only unsatisfactory responses?
Yes. Use the filter option and select “Unsatisfactory responses” to see only those.
5) Can I delete or update the order tracking link later?
Yes, you can update or delete the tracking link anytime through the Order Tracking intent.
